Don't be afraid to drill some holes and put stuff where you want it.

Hobie does listen to owner feedback on their kayaks. But this forum isn't the place. Try posting a thread on the Hobie forum & if there's enough interest in a design change......it might happen.

That being said I believe the moderators on the Hobie forum have posted with regard to factory mounted rails. They leave the addition of these to the user. As for the stock models coming with the ST fins instead of the Turbos that has been addressed as well. The average first time & occasional user is happier with the ST as they take less effort to use & can be used in shallower water without bottoming out.

I'm happy with their decision re: the rails. Chances are they would end up mounting them close to where I wanted them, but maybe not EXACTLY where I needed them. Also I like to keep the weight to the bare minimum & don't need 8 feet of rail on my kayak.

Someone mentioned to me at GS about the unusable space like the top of the front hatch.
As much as I love my Revo, it'd be awesome if Hobie gave the front hatch lid a concave design similar to the Outback.  Like you said, it's basically useless space with the convex design.  Can't lay anything on it without it sliding off.

I love the shape of the front hatch.  It helps get those airborne trout back in the water when they're in a suicidal mood.

I think I've lost at least a few kokanee that I WANTED to commit suicide when that convex hatch let them bounce away to freedom  :smt005.

I certainly would. Someone mentioned to me at GS about the unusable space like the top of the front hatch. On the outback I like to store my fish on top of it covered with the burlap. Any fish on the Revo hatch would certainly slide off. Id like to see at least some keel protection, tracks, and for gods sake make that damn 8" citcular hatch a standard rectangular one. Of course all of these things are relatively easy to do on your own but im just being picky. I feel like they'll eventually do all of these but you'll be waiting a few years.

...you think it's bad wait till you have to take a piss otw then you'll really hate life...
We have two of these we travel with because we can manage them on hullivators when we pull our travel trailer.  I’m hoping the addition of the sidekicks/AMA’s will make peeing over the side possible. My two choices now are landing the boat or a diaper... preferably an adult size.
