Any Intel on inland salmon yet. I'd like to try this weekend maybe if they're around.  :smt006

I fished several times at the Freeport Bridge/Garcia Bend area with no luck. There have been a couple landed on 3oz. Purple jigs. I've been anchoring down to run plugs. I think I am going to try strictly jigging on Friday.

its been real slow. but with the amount of fish on the coast right now, getting closer and closer, we should start to see a decent bite by the middle of this month into mid oct.  i dont know what ever happened to those big feather river runs we would see in july/august before, but they're just not there as much anymore.

Past weekend my buddy got 2 chrome hens @ 18# and 20#. One on Friday and one Saturday trolling. Both fish came near the isleton bridge. On Saturday a couple people caught jacks from the walnut grove Dock. Bite is still sporadic on spinners.

Last Monday there were a ton of locals and others trolling the s-'-- out of the WG area.  A few Fish have been caught.  Supposedly a monster hen was caught by a bankie in WG last Sunday.  Heading up again tomorrow  for a few days beyond the weekend.

I was out on Monday and trolled for nada. Launched at miller and ended up all thexway down to freeport. Seen a couple roll and 3 caught at Freeport all by jiggers. Chromers too...there coming but slowly.  Verona is the place to be right now, but I wouldn't recommend it in s kayak..it gets crazy and busy up there. I'm 0 for 4 now myself. Back trolling plugs and spinners in key spots with decent current in about 10-18ft of is getting fish as well as jigging. Trolling for me and from what I seen ain't producing much. At least from freeport up. I'll be out somewhere sat

My son drew first blood on Sat. PM..  Marked tons of fish on FF Sunday, no takers.  Today marked about 20 Fish from Ryde to WG, again no takers.  Fish was a little pinkish but grilled up fine with my fresh dove poppers from opening day.

My buddy reported about 50 boats on the water from Isleton to WG this morning. Seeing multiple hook ups and nets flying. Looks like the biting fish pushed up over the weekend.
