Hi everyone,

I have been enjoying this site over the last few months.  Found it as I was searching for a fishing kayak (still looking).

I have only kayak fished a few times but I am really looking forward to having the chance to go out more often.  Last year I went out in Big Sur and caught a few rock fish.  Can't wait to fish locally.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far in the education and motivation department.

I live just north of Santa Cruz in Davenport and am looking forward to launching when the swell gets down and seeing what is to be found.

I have a friend with a power boat and have been able to get out every few weeks to fish in the Santa Cruz area.  We do ok with the lings and rock fish but are still trying for the elusive halibut!

I hope I get the chance to meet with a few of you over the next few years.

Happy (and safe) fishing to all.

I live in SC and fish up your way quite often. We launch from the landing or Scott's. If you are looking to buy a yak I may have one for you. Or atleast one you can borrow to try out. Halibut are hot right now, got two the other day myself so it's just a matter of getting the line wet and puttin in some time!!

Hope to fish one day with yA!
