Service to this great nation

 As of August 15th I have completed 20 years of service(4 in the Marine Corps and 16 in the California Army National Guard).  This make me eligible for my Reserve Retirement. I have to wait until Oct 2020 for my Active Duty Retirement, but I am still very proud to have completed 20 years of service to this great nation.

That's amazing, dude congrats.  I've been doing my thing for a little over half of that, sure feels like time has flown by. 
Any idea what's next in plan, Sarge?

thanks everyone. I am not going to retire quiet yet, not until at least Oct 2020... If I get promoted in the next year or so I may stay past that time too.

Time flies.  Get all the honey do's done in the next four years and then we will fish and dive Mexico to Alaska the whole year.  Put it on the calendar.
