Proud new Papa: ). Such a beautiful kayak I am afraid to put any holes in her. I think I will wait until after Simply Fishing before I make any mods, but it was love at first sight. I was so happy until I got home and my truck broke down. Win some lose some :smt003

Yeah I will.  Me and a friend are going out tomorrow. I can't wait. I think I will be paddling around and I will try to fish but I am so excited I don't know if I will fish much at all.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

Victor, I did buy the racks. I wanted to ask you about the Scotty gearheads because the adapters I had on my wildey don't fit on the Eddyline. I saw on your post about the lime green C14 you were using the gearheads. How were they and is there anything else you would recommend . Thanks David

This helps to not put to much pressure on the tracks. I believe rockhopper uses them also

I also concur with previous post. I also tried the track adapter 438 but it felt like it could break the track lose I was much more comfortable with a mount that was held by the track but make contact with the kayak on both sides when tightened down. The 438 I didn't even like my ff on. I used the 1" ram ball mount with about a two inch round base and it cinched down sturdy on the track. Worked great for the ff

I'm sure that blue looks pretty spectacular in the sun!  Everyone needs toys and beer.  Rockhopper's got a sweet ass track behind his seat w/multiple mounts, it looks like all business!  Really enjoying my C12 right now, the C14 feels a little more tippy in da butt/seat area but maybe I just need to spend more time on it, quick and tracks real good though.  Enjoy!
