Arrowhead Marina 8/12.....don't launch here!

Fish Junky and I launched out of Arrowhead Marina this morning.  We fished Miner Slough for the outgoing tide.  Junky did way better than me with 15 bass to the boat.  I struggled to boat 5.  The top lure was a Whopper Plopper in the munky butt pattern followed by a chartreuse spinner bait.  Upon retrieving Junky was confronted by Arrowheads owner/manager.  It appeared that we parked in the wrong place and he was pissed off about it.  Where we parked apparently was for truck/trailers.  There was no signage to reflect that so we just pulled into those spaces.  There were only 3 cars in the parking lot…..not like it was crowded.  Then to top things off he wanted us to pay an additional $5 because he claimed we launched before 6 AM.  We arrived at 5:55 AM and did not launch until 6:15 AM.  Junky told him we did not launch before 6 and told him no way on the 5 bucks.  I retrieved shortly after Junky left and he did not approach me.  I’ve had run it with this caustic person before but this was the last time for me.  I won’t ever launch here again.  Beware of this grumpy old fart and his crappy facility.

Sorry Sam, unfortunately there are some real shitheads out there. You are a great guy and don't need to put up with that. Glad you got out.
