#10 (Vid and FoodPorn added)

Was in water at first light this morning and after an hour or so was able to get my 10th striper of the year.

 

Not a monster at 25.25 inches, but it will taste great and am super stoked!!

Swell was good (calm) but was murky and hazy and had a hard time seeing much past speartip.

Saw 2 other fish about same size...one went right under me but I was in so shallow that I couldn't line up shot right away and he bolted. 

Saw Alex/Alien briefly at the beach, raced home and showered and changed, and into work by 845am.

Great way to start the day!! 

Will see if I got any decent footage tonight.

Here is a quick vid...not the best footage cuz of low light and hazy water...



You can see in the first pic below that my first four GoPro clips were all black...maybe I started a little too early?? Or maybe I should just bring my dive light next time. 

Made some awesome striper nuggets last night for Ana, her friend and myself and washed it down with some excellent Nicaraguan rum.

Man, that meat is GOOD!! Firm and tasty...ate a few chunks raw as well and loved it. I know I shouldn't cuz of risk of parasites, but I do quite a few things in life that I shouldn't do. 

Also cooked the head and collars in foil with some EVOO, Cajun spice, lemon and garlic cloves and brought it for lunch today.
