I think all the area from a few miles north of the Russian River to north of Salt Point is about the same for fish habitat. Just move around and look for rocky structure below and drop a line.

Lots of fish.  Just more walking to vehicle after dropping off gear.

Just look for structures.
I usually like to head out the against the direction of the drift, so I can drift back to my launch site.

Take someone with you that has handicap plates.  Allows you to park at the launch site rather than at the top of the hill.
