My yaks been around the block, a green P15, and I want to get some of the dullness out. What should I use? I need to do a little pimping of the yak.

303 Aerospace Protectant is most recommend for our plastic yaks.

Just be careful.  It makes surfaces super shiny and slick.  The first time I tried loading my yak on my truck after applying the stuff, my kayak nearly slid off my Yakima racks and fell off the other side of the truck.  I had to cinch the straps down extra tight just to secure it.

Before you go with the 303 you need to do a deep cleaning of your kayak
What I use is a small scrub brush with stiff bristles and some simple green
Then rinse it real good let dry of if you have a compressor just blow it off.

Then spray the hell out of it with 303 but do it in the shade it don’t work
Well in the sun then after you’re done with the kayak do your fish finder
And anything else plastic. :smt001

Ps hope you don’t store your yak in the sun if you do it mite never
Come clean because it is faded  :smt010

I use 303 for the "zip-lock" closures on dry bags. It gets them to work after they dry out and don't close any more.

I have haven't tried 303 or Armorall, but I have found that if you never wash your yak and soak it in fish slime and blood its like a chum bag every time you get it wet.
