That's gonna be a tight weekend, physically. 

There's elk on saturday with cardiac hill.  then the alcatraz challenge on sunday.  don't know if my old bones are up to it.

I'm curious, do you do the hill from hell once and leave your yak over night on the beach, or do you haul it up each day? Also, I assume there are plenty of fellow ab divers going too?

Just curios.  Around when is the Mendo Bendo schedule? I want to be able to make it this year so I want to get my vecation request in for the event.

Absolutely fabulous timing.  The Elk tourney is getting me out of an in-law reunion with hundreds of people in Indiana.    Now I can go early and fish/dive Friday and Sunday too.  I can't wait!

On a side note, is MolBasser coming with homebrew?

Scwafish, as far as the tournament, is this event an annual fundraiser for NCKA? If so, do you need any motherly types to help with land-based community activities, such as fish printing? Count me in if you do! I'll practice my Moochette (ambassadorial--is that a word?) skills.  I will NOT be trudging the infamous hill with a kayak!

I have a campsite at albion River...for Thurs/2nd and Sunday /5th If anyone wants to come early or stay late your more then welcome.

Hey, Bigfoot, will you be there from the 2nd through the 5th? Does Albion have tent camping or only RVs? I've paddled there many times (one of my favorite places), but for the life of me can't remember the campground other than it is rather stark. I'd be interested in staying there with my tent and dog if your offer is still open. Otherwise, I'll check out Van Damme SP.

Sean/Bill - Do you have a BALLPARK time frame for when sign-ups will be posted? Just so I don't have to keep checking the board 30 times a day from work hoping not to miss out!

In the past there have been many non-entrants that stay behind (usually spouses and kids).  Last year, with the help of some "motherly" types, I ran a fish printing class in the afternoon.  I think it turned out pretty well, we had kids and adults alike making prints.  Anyway, I'm hoping to do the same this year and would love the help.

As Far as I can figure out, We (Ty and I) get to Albion Thur/2, fish and spend the night . Fri/3 fish, pack up camp and move to Elk comm. Center as soon as possible, help set up w/Sean. party, spend the night@ECC. Fish Sat/4, win a couple categories in Tourney & raffle. Party, Spend night @ ECC. Sun/5Wake, fish and leave back to Albion PM. Spend night of 8/5  @ Albion. Mon/6 Wake try to Fish and decide when to head home. If someone spots a flaw in this plan please let me know! Your more then welcome Big J, I have to check with the campsite and see how many cars an limits on people and what not.

I just got off the phone w/Albion. Any more then two to a camp site is $5 a person and pets are $2 a night. They had a few spots left if anyone wants one, better hurry. Does anyone know what time do we need to be out of Elk on Sunday?

Big J... I plan to coordinate the raffle again this year and could certainly use a little help with that too... primarily ticket sales.  The raffle will go to support Coastside Fishing Club as well as to support our friend Chefstefano.

You'll have a really good time there... it really is a great event.

I had to cancel last minute last year (I was gone 4/5 wkends and drained my WAF).  Really looking forward to this year.

I do not have a good ETA on when the sign-up will be up. I got this virus from my daughter that you are supposed to get when you are 1 and if you get it when you are older then it hangs on forever. Given the hectic nature of Elk sign-up I have been delaying the madness.

I will do this though. I will post a 1 week advanced notice before putting it up.
