I need my current password to create a new one and I lost it and am afraid to log out and be technically banished from this site of learning and community.  What do I do, I want a new password.......

What web browser are you using?  Chrome allows you to see your saved passwords.  For other browsers there may be methods or tools to retrieve the saved passwords.
