HI there,

I live in Sausalito and I am wondering if there are any Kayak Fishermen/women out here that are looking for company out on the water.

Would be great to meet.

Cheers,

Sebastian

Hey Sebastian,

I don't know of any fishermen/women in Sausalito, but I fish the Marin County coastline quite a bit. I mostly target salmon, but also halibut, lingcod, and rockfish.

Once you get to 10 posts on these forums, the fun begins. There is a wealth of fishing knowledge here waiting to be soaked up.

Welcome to the madness!

Cheers,

Alex

Hi,
thanks for your reply. I am just starting to choose a yak and all, but I think the most fun is to go out on the water with some cool people. So looking out for some cool people that are ok with a greenhorn like myself ;)

Once you get those 10 posts, it'll open up the members only section for hookups and reports. Keep an eye out there and you'll see all kinds of events, gatherings, and simple fishing trips. Probably best to hold off on venturing into saltwater until you have some kayaking experience, but that'll happen quick.
