Backslider and Mickfish were in the water by 7:15, I decided to hit it at the crack of noon.
Great day on the water, those guys made it a few miles out, I stayed by the trestle, my luckiest spot, for nada. Mickfish stayed by the trestle for a while on his way back to show me how its done.
Its been over a month since I wet a line, felt good.

Then this funky home-made train go-cart thing came by with some dudes on it drinking beer like something out of burningman. With a  REAL big lawnmower engine. They start asking the PBs what the # was to swing the train-track around so they could keep on cruising. They ended up picking the thing up and turning around.

Man, you shoulda seen the size of the bullhead I caught... it was unreal.  Then there were Mike's balloons (I'll let him tell you about that one), and of course we can't forget the rabid killer seal.  I tell ya, we barely made it out of there alive!  :smt001  Oh, and the weather was damn near perfect.

p.s.  Ben, I was trying to make a crack about how far out you paddled, but it sounded like I was insulting your paddle, instead.  Truth be told, I'm not in the habit of looking at another man's paddle.  :smt003

Nice day Great Bait No Love except the Valentine Ballons I caught Hey Bill What about a Mylar Catgory for AOTY.
Caught a couple of schoolies one on the troll one on bait.
The seal was too funny came up right next to my boat then followed Chris home like a dog.
Fished Eriks #s for 1 pump but no hook up.
The Yahoos on that railroad go cart were nuts they expected the train bridge to turn for them NOT.
Great day to be out hope the China Camp Boys got some.
Saw a boat on the way slow leak free just tow it in.

I guess somebody had a bad day lot of prop tracks in the mud out there. We saw one boat get stuck and he was powering through the mud had a roostertail of pure mud for quite a while. I suprised he was able to run a speed after he got out.

Hey Mike.... no love for the China Camp Boys either.  Tote, Chub, JTF, and I stayed out till at least 2:30 between China Camp and the McNears Pier.  It was a gorgeous day, but caught nothing more than a few bait stealers.

Funny thing.... I saw a few red baloons floating by too.

I guess the distance between Black Point and China Camp was a little too far for our VHF radios.  There were a few times when I could actually hear you or Ben.  Were you guys able to hear us at all?

I saw those balloons  at China camp. I thought they were buoy markers until they kept getting further and further away.

Some V-day baloons went up the petaluma where I intercepted them, I thought they were lost floats at first. They got around, wonder if they came from SF?
