Anyone know where I can get a replacement battery holder for the T-13? It's that canvas pouch that hangs in the bow. It came with mine but the zipper rusted out.
Thanks,
Andrew

i would just replace them with something that's not canvas.  i found mine to be unsatisfactory with water intrusion when i had a T13.  a waterproof box attached to padeyes worked much better for me.

Yeah, those waterproof boxes look good. Can I buy those somewhere or are they more of a DIY tupperware job?

I went to Pacific outfitters looking to buy a dive mask container. Jef with one f hooked me up with one and gave me a grommet. It was perfect to Stowe away my battery.
I got 99 problems, and fishing solves them all!

YakGear Juice Box?  I'm also looking for something but might just go with a Pelican...

I scored a waterproof box at Wally World in the camping section and it fits a battery well with some custom foam noodle pieces

that's the one I use.  Outdoor Research box.  fits a 12v 7ah well.  makes the whole setup about $40 (including battery for about $25-30)+ wiring, so $50ish if done right.

Yes that's the one I'm talking about.  I'm generally a believer in lithium batteries these days, after using them off and on.  To put together a quality setup like the juicebox looks, its gonna cost some coin:
Waterproof box - cheapy $8 at walmart, pelicans are around $30
11ah LifePO4 battery - cheapest ones are around $100-$120 for a lifepo4
charger - usually from $20-$30
on off switch/wiring - $5

so if you were to put together a setup yourself with as decent quality as that yakgear one looks, you'd be in it for a minimum of $150 and have to do the work and wiring yourself.  hopefully they do them right and wire them properly with decent wiring and connections. we'll see once they're released.

Definitely looks promising.  I only need something to power my ff though and want to keep it as light as possible.  Really cool that the industry support for this sport keeps on growing!
