TIA for any insight/advice/opinions,

From reading this board I realize I'll eventually have at least 3 kayaks, but for now . . .

Priorities:

Comfortable seat(back) & leg-room:  6'3" 250'ish

Wife/daughter (4yoa) can come along and be comfortable/safe.  Teach kiddo to fish/get skunked :oD

Able to solo if they hate it

It seems like the PA is more suited to freshwater while the TI shines in salt? (yeah, trailer and unlikely surf landings) Dunno how the TI would do in smaller freshwater i.e. napa river

Don't know how easily the TI can convert from kayak/kayak+ama/full sail both amas to be a realistic (not a royal PITA) option

The "sailing" aspect might sell wifey on kayaking and kayak/fishing loot ;)

Out of the two (or a mirage I'm overlooking) does one stand out above the other?

Appreciated,

Mark

You'll have more options/configurations with the TI than PA.  I would go with the TI.
