Up San Pablo Bay with out a Mirage Drive

 To start, I read " Tote's " thread wrong and thought he was going today out of China camp. I guess I was a little confused after working last night, so confused when I arrived @ China Camp @ 11:00, no Mirage drive for my Battle cruiser. Conditions were good, light wind, little ripple on the water.


Paddle agaist the out going and anchored past Rat Rock, good amount of boats in the area with the tide ripping about 12:00.Good amount of boats in the area with no hook ups that I could see



Wind picked up about 1:15 and it was over in 15 minutes

Do you not have the plastic insert that plugs up the big hole?  Or, are you worried about the "Wave Factor"?  Crashing over the sides into the bottom of your yak.

I got the same green one.  Have not used it in about a year.  Have 2 other Yaks I like better.  Watch out, they flip over easy.  They have a round bottom and the only thing.....sometimes that keeps you up right is the rudder.  But, you probably already know that.
