sp bay, colm GOT ONE

colm and i fished china camp today, roughly on the inner edge of the "shell bank". ghost shrimp in 7 ft.   the weather was great, the beer was cold and now there is one less sturgeon virgin.  colm caught a 45" sturgeon and a little striper.

Nice sturge, it looked like glass water too.

Way to go guys cant ask for much more than that beautiful day and a fish to boot  .

oh sooo jealous. i was stuck prepping for a week conference in vegas...weather was beautiful till the afternoon. Desperately trying to get out tomorrow- but kitchen demo might stop that

I couldn't believe how nice the weather was today.  Glad you guys got out on the water to take advantage of it.  Catching fish is nice too!

Right on .... that Colm is bonafide fish slayer .... I saw him catch one of the few biggest kayak salmon to come out of Linda Mar. 

Hey Chris.... I also bet he hasn't been sturgeon fishing off his yak for very long either.

Someday...... 

Lesson learned.... as Erik theorized.... even sturgeon prefer calm weather.  No more sitting out hail storms for me.
