I was planning on hitting tomales bay this weekend but I decided to postpone it until next weekend to avoid the holiday crowd, so i am fishing Lake Hennessey instead. I will be fishing Saturday evening from around 5pm til dark, then Sunday morning from 5am til I get tired. If anyone wants to join me ill be there in a blue Moken. Will be back on here sometime Sunday with the report

The fishing was pretty good the first day but not so great the second. The first day I caught bass on several different things but most of them came on a drop shot rig and a topwater frog. Despite rumors the lake closes to boaters at dark. A lake patrol truck spotted me before he closed the gate to the launch and called me in with a megaphone
