I have done this numerous times with the family for up to two weeks at a time.  I'll look at the map & let you know what one we really liked.  I love that lake for camping & boating!!!

Looking at the map, the best I can remember is it was Buck Pasture.  Only reason I can remember is there was only 1 set of camp sites up the creek past it & they were never used & the sites we had were inside the 5 mph zone so no boat traffic other than a bass boat working the shoreline.  Best sites imho.  When we went further up the creek to see the last set of sites we found massive wild berry patches to harvest & made fresh pies while camping.  We always camped in mid to late August.  Had one week of 115+ temps with 95 low at night.  Another year we had a little rain.  Best part was less people.  I'd suggest looking at those sites.  Only a few miles from the launch ramp by boat.
