An NCKA Day

Got a PM from Butete the other day asking if I wanted to have a beer or two because, "It's hot enough".
How can I refuse an offer like that?
Today was the day.
But, this morning when I woke up the FIRST thing Becky says to me, not even two steps out of bed, "The washing machine isn't draining!".
Awesome, just awesome!
Already had plans of pulling the toilet out of the main bathroom as a plumber is coming over tomorrow to do whatever plumbers do to install a new flange on the floor.
Yea, I COULD do it, but the new bathroom is my wife's idea. I'm happy with what we have, so as far as plumbing and laying tile...I'm OUT! Hire it on YOUR dime baby!
I did agree to pull the toilet to save her some $$$.
So Butete shows up with a couple of AWESOME beers, Boulevard Brewing Co., Rye on Rye, Smoke Stack series, 12%, Special Limited release Ale.................AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

I told him when he showed up I needed to replace the drain pump on the washing machine AND pull the toilet out of bathroom #1.
I thought I heard the phone ring. Not sure if it was during the 'Rye on Rye' or 'Brother Thelonius'. Either way I didn't make it in time to answer; but more importantly, didn't care.
The caller did leave a message.
It was Cabeza de Melon.
I'm thinking, "OK, I'll call him back when everything is done."
The persistent dude called back.
I was nimble enough, barely, to answer the phone.
Seems he is off to Mexico and his dive watch is having issues. He wanted to borrow mine for his trip.
Not a problem, 'cuz that's how we roll.
It will be in the mail tomorrow.
Then Tommy says to me, give me the the tools, I'll pull the toilet, you fix the washer.
And that's how it all went down.
Had a great time with an NCKA bro, he helped me out (in more ways than one), and was able to help out another NCKA brother.

Could I shoot rocks with your most expensive bow and arrows you have.  Mine are not good right now and I am going on a "trip". 

Also my beer sucks compared to what you have.  How about sending some over so I can sample. 12 percent sounds good.

If it was the only bow I owned, and somehow had all my shots recorded in it, and was in mint condition, then yes you could.

Shooting arrows, shooting the $hit, or whatever you do, if you are doing it at "Tote"s Bar" then you doing pretty F'n good!!

I called at a good time. Thanks Tommy for softening him up for me 

Who knows what the answer would have been if he was on his knees sober wrestling a toilet when I called
