GONE FISHINGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

WELL MADE IT OUT AT 6 A.M, TO ANTOHER BEAUTFUL SUNRISE. THE BIRDS WERE ALLREADY WORKING , I KNOW THE SQUID WERE AROUND, AND THERE WERE LOTS OF IT . MADE ABOUT 12 LIVE SQUID REAL FAST AND HEADED TOWRDS THE SANDDUNES WERE THERE EVEN MORE SQUID. MORAL TO THE STORY IS HALIBUT WERE FULL ON SQUID,  GOT NO HITS , AND THE PB'ERS HAD THE SAME SCORE. STOPED  BY MY FAVORITE REEF, MADE THREE CAST'S, AND COUGHT THREE LINGS ALL UNDERSIZE BUT FISTY.  CHEF

Chef, what's the best way to catch squid for bait?... with a sabiki or a squid jig? ... or both?

CHUCK, i take my caps off  i like both of them. today i got the on my sabki. one or two a drop. fish finder  is key or if the birds or working. i tried my squid jig but the current was too much it wasn't heavy enought. hey i might be in to wedsday at oyster point or ?.  chef steve
