WTB 2015 Hobie AI (Used or New)

Decided to bite the bullet and try to buy the 2015 Hobie AI (The seat is big to me so not interested in older models sorry).

If you have one for sale let me know, or if you know someone selling one let me know. I tried to buy from Kayak Connection but the price they gave me was $5,300, far higher than I can possibly afford. ACK has it for $4850. I almost got the used one from Adventure Sports / Kayak City for $3900 but someone bought it just one day before I could grab it. Adventure Sports is going to make me an offer on a new one but I don't know the price yet.

If you know of a place that will offer a good deal let me know. If someone wants to sell theirs used, let me know too.

any discussion of AI come up, it caught my eyes.
I was looking for deals of 2015 AI too for weeks and months, I never found one, the one I did find is out of my price range anyway.
I just picked up a 2011 AI, money well spent, such a blast to sail.

I'm almost certainly going to be selling my pristine '15 in the fall.

I might've found a good deal on a 2015 AI, but before I commit I'm curious what changed for 2016 and if it's anything significant? I recall seeing something about XL Padeyes but I don't know what that means.

Finally found some vague info on 2015/2016 changes. Looks like it's just bigger pad eye behind the seat and a little easier install method in the transducer. Not worth paying $1000 more than the brand new 2015 I have reserved.

Getting your hands on a 2015 is a great deal!  The only other difference are the thru-hull adapters

Adventure Sports Kayak City in Sacramento emailed me back saying they had one for sale for $3900 brand new still in box, 2015 model. I lucked out because they thought they were out of stock. A+ people there.
