Something just doesn't add up. A drain plug taken out caused a kayak to capsize? And she manipulated the paddle ring?? Is it the drip ring on paddles? A more plausible scenario would be that the guy was drunk, not wearing a pfd, fell into the water, couldn't get back up or right his kayak, then died from hypothermia or drowning.

Actually, the fiancé was a wife beater. I don't blame her (if she actually did it).
