Have anybody tried other types of quick disconnect, for example this one: http://www.amazon.com/Diageng-Waterproof-Electrical-Connector-Marine/dp/B00BYNKUSE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464735452&sr=8-1&keywords=quick+disconnect+electrical+waterproof

The problem I have with SAE is that when wet it's somewhat hard to disconnect.

Looking for battery box and battery combo  that has a round 2 pin plug in Peligin case
I think a Pelican case is bigger, heavier, and more expensive than is necessary for a battery box.  All you need is a box which is sufficiently waterproof to protect the battery contacts and fuse holder from water and corrosion, and which has a connector which allows you to easily connect and disconnect the battery from the wiring in your kayak.  A Tupperware container is sufficient.  I like the Outdoor Products waterproof box I used for my battery box, which costs $9.99 at Walmart.

My Tupperware costs about $1 but it was pointed out to me that I wired it backwards so I can not use anyone else's battery or charger. Apparently the positive side of the wire coming for the charger should be the male part. Not as shown in this picture :(,

This is what I've got, except I use the connector that sebast posted a picture of.
I don't like stuff that sucks.
