Hi Guys and Gals,
I just got dragonfly fishfinder/gps for my tandem ocean xl kayak. Can anyone give me advice on best compromise place to mount it? I am solo (the middle seat spot) probably 80% of time, and sitting in the rear seat well maybe 20% of time when my younger daughter comes with me. It seems like the only place would be right behind the front seat, but then that person can't really lean back.
Anyone solved this well? Would really appreciate any suggestions or photos. Thanks!

I wasn't sure where to put it, but I guess it's more of a general question. sorry, but I do appreciate the advice!

Don't have much experience, but it seems to me that you should mount it for the 80%. Could you mount it on the side, as opposed to the middle of the kayak, and use a ball mount attachment with an extension arm for the 20%?

Check out what I did for my Tandem. I'm in the same boat (figuratively, with my daughter some times) and literally in a tandem setup.
