Big surf a comin'

It looks like there are some big waves coming in around the 25th of February.

If I'm reading this correctly Mavs will be +27ft.

I just checked the Mavericks site, and they haven't greenlighted the contest. Maybe one of the surfers can let us know if the swell direction is wrong? Or do the contest organizers need to hold out for bigger waves?

It's not that big for very long, they usually need a longer swell event and happier winds.

that's what I see by looking at www.surfline.com pay for view forcasts.

which by the way, if you want the killer ocean forecast, are really good. in one view they give
a graph of all swells, wind and tide and rain/sun.  I forget how much I pay tho. but not much.
