Out-Of-Bounds

Hey All,

I'm a life-long So Cal resident who has frequented the Central Coast quite a bit, but never fished it from a kayak. I have three small boys (one more pending) whom are about camping age, so we'll be visiting San Simeon in about a month for a few days and I'm planning to bring the yak! I joined up to this forum because I know very well that local knowledge is key and I have found this forum to be very informative. Hope to see you guys on the water.

I paddle a Malibu Pro 2 Tandem for the flexibility I need for having a family and still accommodating solo sessions. It's an uphill battle to outfit a tandem, but it get's the job done. My preferred technique is Weedless 5"+ Paddletail Swimbaits.
