Awesome report as always.
I need to get back on the butt hunt after the (butt) skunk I got last time with Krusty. After Saturday's skunk I went to Contra Loma with pops and got some consolation bluegill because hey, what can I say, I'm a cheap date.

Great job. Thanks for the report. I would like to go out and try to target halibut off the yak one of these times. Thanks again for sharing

@AL I was using a three way rig, 8 ounce ball sinker (during the tide change), a KoneZone flasher, and a shiny sex herring. That has been the ticket for all three of my hali's this year. That's why i always try to get people to get on the sex herring when its running. Best bait around!

I like trolling against the current. I think it helps spin the flasher and bait more. Over all ARW looked promising this last weekend. I haven't seen that much bait there in a long long time.

@crazyfisher... yeah we will fish together for sure. Hopefully you can get on your first halibut of the year. I love fishing for other fish but halibut is my bread and butter.

@Benzo, look for a good weather and just go out. The flag pole is literally 3 - 5 minutes from the launch site. Just make sure to have all your safety gear ready.  :smt001

I've already found that out. Bought trident 13 as a dive platform and fishing.  Works great as dive platform. Not to bad for rock/ling fishing but definitely  sucks bass fishing in the wind/current.
