Gold Crappie

This was caught today by one of the Wilderness Systems team guys. He took it to the biologists in his state to have it tested to se what was up with it.

Crappie/ goldfish hybrid?.... It could happen

WOW!!! Thats strange, how does something line that occur? That doesnt seem natural is that something like albinoism in animals? A kind of pigment trait anomaly?

probably the closest  Ca DFW regional office...I believe they have freezers where they do keep confiscated game etc.. I  had a call about a dead dog in the road  turned out to be a dead Mountain Lion ,called  local  animal  control who called Ca dfw and they came up and took it to Yountville "said" they had a freezer for the biologists  for such things
