Weather, Wind, Wave forecast for GS X.

Not an expert on this, and I know SC can be different from normal forecast.  So here you go meteorologists!

I'm looking at my iPhone and it's got those rain drop things on Friday and Saturday …

  not NORAD, that's for sure

It's still a week out. Right now it looks not as good as I hope and not as bad as I fear.

You want to refer to the y-axis on the left hand side of the graph for the swell height.  The y-axis on the right side is the period (seconds).

Have you heard the story of GS2?

The first "Gimme Shelter" was 6 of us who trolled for salmon in March of 2007 - It was Etienne/Sackyak, Pat/Cen Coast, Sonny/Sailfish, Hawk/Swellrider, Chris/MB Yakker, and myself.  We had a blast even though we didn't catch any salmon.

In early 2008 we had quite the buzz going on here about "Gimme Shelter 2" - Cen Coast started up the thread, and we probably had a few dozen people in to coming for salmon trolling in March again.  As it approached, it was clear that an especially raspy late winter storm was going to hit right when we had planned to 'hookup'.  The whole thing got called off.  No one showed.

From GS3 on, it has been solid.

17 @ 10 can't even smash the event now!  But it would suck. 

Every year I get nervous looking at all the forecast, and when we get there, the weather is perfect !!!! It's a Cove thing !!!!!!
