I'll be there repping Native, probably going to bring my SP10 fully rigged for fishing.  Craig Richter, the distributor for Native and Hurricane will also be there with demo boats.

I know for a fact that our favorite friendly Wildy boy, Rob Knoles will be there as well, and I'm sure some of our CCK team members will be there also.

If you've been wanting a chance to demo a Native or Hurricane, come on down!  If there's a specific Hurricane boat you'd like to try, let me know and I'll talk to Craig about getting access to one.  They're real strong paddling boats from what I've heard, but I've yet to try one myself.

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

CCK Paddlefest is on June 4-5 at Lake Natoma at the Nimbus Flat State Park area off of Hazel Ave.  Saturday is for kayaks and SUPs. Sunday is SUPs only.  The 2015 cost was $15 for Saturday and $25 for Sunday (I will double-check to confirm these are the 2016 rates and modify if necessary).  This gets you a paddle/PFD and access to all models available for demoes for the whole day.  In terms of fishing kayaks there will be Hobies, Wilderness Systems, Jacksons, Mokens and Natives available to demo that I know of. Most manufacturers, if not all, will have members from their fishing teams available to assist and answer questions and they'll be some fully-rigged fishing kayaks for newer folks to checkout.  CCK has been doing this event for many years and it is always fun and a great opportunity to compare a bunch of different kayaks. It's also a fun place to hang-out with the family.

Parking is available at the state park for $10 or you can park on the west side of Hazel Ave and walk in to the park.
