Tommorrow night i am going to head out to new hogan (valley springs )for a little night time striper fishing. Its a month earlier than I normally do it. But worth a shot.  Last year my buddy picked up a 36" striper with more in common with a torpedo than a fish. Night fishing is a blast if you have never done it before. Usual smorgy runs catfish, crappie, bass and stripers. dropper rig with a nightcrawler on the bottom and a minnow up top.
