Rescue pup

Poor little guy, he is totally freaked out. The five year old kid at his old house did a number on him. The breeder that rescued him told us that the kid and his friends hounded the poor pup into a corner at one point so bad that the dog nipped in self defense. It took us 30 minutes to where we got him this calm. The car ride got him all freaked again. This is going to be a long process of rebuilding his trust in humans.

well after a rocky start and with the help of Jake our 10 year old Aussie, Calvin seems to have calmed down. He explored the back yard, came right up to me and is now sacked out in his kennel

Good on you ! Aussies are among  the most loyal dogs you can befriend. He looks like a mini or some type of mix. Here is a pic of Teaka my 11 year old girl .

I see in the next set of pics he is full size. What a good looking pup!

He is a mini, I do have a full size and another mini.
