Just joined.

Bought a kayak rack for my car and now shopping for the yak.  Thinking about Hobie Outback.  Been a fresh water trout fly fisher, like to do some ocean fishing near Santa Cruz.

You can't go wrong with a Hobie, and there are a lot of people who fish in and around Santa Cruz (usually, including me, but I haven't been able to get out much yet this year).

Welcome to the Madness!  I fished from a Hobie Outback for 4 years before selling it and switching over to an AI.  I need another Outback in my life soon.  I like how it's stable enough to sleep in or stand on...AND you can chase salmon.
