Consumes River preserve access

Hello, i have been wanting to fish the consumes river preserve from my kayak for awhile but see saw that they are only open from sunrise to sunset, does anybody know if you can park on the side of the road and walk in if you want to get on the water before sunrise? Thank you in advance

Yes you can park on the north east side of the road past the no parking sign. Make sure you don't have anything valuable visible in the car. Never had a problem though. The gates usually open at 8am.
