I sold off a 600# single block of lead about 8 years ago when lead prices were descent.  Hardest part is breaking a big piece down to a smeltable sizes.

I used to get the wheel weights at the tire shop for free

Auction ended in May.

Looks like it sold for about 90 cents a lb.

Use a press and a splitting maul. I was having issues cutting down rigger weights so tw let me in on his way.

This deal has passed, but if anyone has a good supply of clean lead and would like to sell a bit, please contact me.

I have all the molds (shad head up to 4oz) and a pot, bring the lead and I'll split final product with you.

I just used the fork lift at home & gently placed it in the back of the guys trick & offered a wave as it became HIS problem while I counted the $$$
