 Hello,

I am jim from near chico.   After researching and shopping for many months, I am now the proud owner of a fishing kayak.  Its a used version but I found an offer I could not refuse.   I usually travel to the north coast several times a year to fish the jetties and rocks.  I have even taken an inflatable and fished out of trinidad all the way to prisoner rocks.  I truly love to catch, cook and eat fresh fish.  My new kayak will open up many opportunites and I like new challenges.   Before I venture out into the briny blue I will most likely take it up to Almanor or other inland lake to get the feel of her, maybe even let her name herself.  Hopefully, by the time rockfish season opens I will be ready to rock.  I look forward to meeting many of you when our paths cross.  If you have any questions about waters in my area, dont hesitate to hit me up.

happy paddling
jim  aka  buckfisher

Hi Jim, Welcome!
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Wow,  that was quick.  Thank you for the warm welcomes.   I have studied kayak fishing for quite a while.  And while watching youtube videos, I recognize quite of few of the areas I fish from shore. Now I cant wait to get at them .  Besides, my 81 year old mother really likes fresh fish too, so I Have to help her out, lol.   I will post when I  travel over.  Like I mentioned, I will attack some fresh water first. \

Hi Soma
My mom is in chico,  I live at the upper end of forest ranch, up in the big trees, lol   Almanor is barely an hour away, hence one of my first choices to try out the new yak. And to Loleta Eric, ya, your vids are not exactly secret squirrel as to the location.  Knowing the ballpark helped inspire my decision, so thank you.
