Shelter Cove today: the salmon bite remains pretty tough, but I've never been so stoked to get skunked! My guest today, Steve, caught a king right off the bat, then we trolled for 7 more hours catching the usual rockies and lings. Right when we were wrapping up the mission and starting to head in Steve hooked up again on a nicer grade of Chinook around 10 pounds. Great weather, beautiful water, 75 degrees and bikinis at the ramp, cold beer, and a hunk of salmon for dinner.
