Pro-Troll 99 cent sale

Anybody else get a call from pro troll yesterday? 

I checked all the jigs in 3-4 Oz range and the only ones left were way down the list.  I ordered 5 and they only had 4, so they called to see if I wanted a lighter version or another lure.  Then it's mentioned that a bunch of kayakers made a big run on the jigs, lol.

I got a call. One of mine was gone. Glad I didn't wait any longer. The lady asked where I heard of them cause they got so many orders on the last day or so. She was very nice seemed like a company from Bay Area I think

for real?  thas hysterical.  but how'd they know it was yakers?

Yeah I thought it was funny myself.  They said they were getting caught up on the rush of orders and dint have stock to fill em all.  I'd imagine once they hit the phones to notify customers they inquired on where we found out about the sale....ala scooters post.  That or maybe the words getting out that were cheap bastards and pounce on sales!

I'd bet now would be a good time for abking to hit them up for a gsx donation....looks like they got a ton of overstocked salmon gear and a group worth advertising to.

Since I was first in I hope there was no shortage on my order.

I found their 8"flashers in plain white on Amazon for $4.14 and order some with plans  to paint them with glow colors etc. FYI they are now $6.11 - still about half price.

FYI, I'm wearing the Cushe shoes from someone elses post about their closeout sale and just made bonus points with my coworkers passing out some of the jars of frozen lime juice HoJo gave me.  My belief, share the surplus etc, cause what goes around comes around

If these are the same flashers I'm thinking of, I think you'll find they put up quite a bit of drag/resistance.

They've got a little fin that makes them rotate properly at slow speeds, which is good cause they're tough to pull very fast.

I stick with little spinning flashers (Fish Flash, Kone Zone) or Dodgers (Luhr Jenson Dodger or Herring Dodger) because they're much easier to pull around for hours on end.

Your mileage may vary...

Dang I should've bought more

Dang Rider - and I thought I bought a lot. Probably will put split rings and my own hooks on them. Not sure if the E-chips need to be inline with the hooks. Seems like a week spot. May just hang them off the eyelets. It's nice they come with both treble and single hooks. 

Shoot all that was less than $50. I can lose that on a bad weekend.
