Hola folks. Was wondering if anybody has the same problem I do every year with diving effects on my fingernails and possibly have a solution. My problem is that with all the pulling on/off wetsuits while the hands are pruned or worked from general camping, my nails seem to separate from the nail bed. Especially along the sides of the nail. Does anyone experience this and have a solution?

How long in the water are you? Most people get wrinkle fingers after being in the water a long time but I never heard of the nail separating. What is your profession? Is there something at work or home like a chemical you use that is irritating the nails.
Strange but you might want to run that by your doctor next time you see him.

Yes see a doctor.

I have stayed in the water all day at times and never had anything like that happen.

My does that a little but it's from constantly grabbing and lifting things.only solution I found that help is that I don't cut my nails too short and it doesn't seem to separate as much.now for me it just the tips of my fingers
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

+1 on the doctor.  You should also hydrate yourself frequently. You lose so much water being in the water.
