"Looking for Lost Pelagics,,,"

I do a lot of that, just paddling for miles waiting and watching as everyone including the fish are bit confused as to where the fish/bait are,,,



Finally took my, "New Body,,," out into the Sea of Cortez,,  yellow tail have been getter caught at the light house, 35 lbder yesterday,,, that's a lucky catch and if a boat does get one, it's usually only one as they are on the run,,, 

My plan, drive 10 klics to Playa Pinchlinque, paddle about 6 clicks into the Coromel Viento (wind), hoping it does not switch on the way back, it sort of did,  I must say, I'm hurting right now, so I over did it a bit,  I'll live ,,,

 Success!!!!



 No yellow tail today, the light house was dead, but I did get a Dorado!!!

 Thier coming in a little early and looks like others Pescado are too,,, bait is still a problem not that I'm using bait, but it is like finding a needle in a hay stack and I found one today ,,,

If I can heal up today, I'm headed to Muertos Bay tomorrow

It's really strange…

 Giving a fish to a local around here is a big deal, even a, " Pescalito…" like this…

 but Dorado have also not been seen for some months now, and you can not buy these fish, so all good…

 glad I got this Bad Boy today…

surprised that people are still shocked when I say I got it from a kayak …

 seems like common sense to me … 

Gave it to " Carlita …"  Chica behind the Bar at The Cortez Club y Sunset Bar…

 Her family will eat well tonight and probably the next day as the Locals know how to make everything count ...

Forgot to mention,

Got my fishing license checked while on the water, first time I actually brought it with me too!!! They were cool, funny was there were other boats around me, after being checked, not so much … 


 "Cliff",  Speared this Bad boy yesterday out at Espiritu.. he saw a school of Yellow Tail but they were out of range and gone,

 This Pig is going on the BQ tonight as a whole slab… wish I shot a video of the carving up job done by the locals…

La Paz is safe, if you play by the rules as you would in any city in the U.S…. go a certain distance from the business/tourist zones in any big city, your going to find trouble… no different here and to add to that problem which is usually not…

  With " El Chappo …" now behind bars and being switched to different cells everyday so his buddies can't dig him out again,

well as any turf war, The Cartel is back in La Paz clashing with each other   

Crime on Crime and in the inner city, but the %'s of running into trouble have gone up. I have not seen anything, but it's what I'm hearing...

Gringo tourist areas, your safe…  beaches, popular venues, fine…

but after it gets late,

 no business being out where ya don't belong …

It's also believed this will blow over quite rapidio ...

 I Will be heading to the Pacific Side for a most important, "meeting…" 
 
then home, then to GSX …
