Has anyone fished clearlake as of late for bass or crappie?

I can confirm that fish 100%  16#3oz to be exact.  Caught by a good friend & former co-worker of mine.  Got pics that it did happen.

Yeah, there's a big WON bass toruney going on.  Between last weekened and this upcoming one, the lake is getting a bit hammered.

Well that sucks, was planning on taking a buddy of mine up there Friday for his second yak trip. Probably a shear madness the next couple days

ME and my boys fished this weekend. A lot of rain and wind but we stayed in the shallows and had fun fishing the crappies. Good action when it wasn't pouring and too windy.

Are fish from clearlake good for eating, or jis it more for recreation? I have never been to clearklake and remember reading something about pollution, and I love eating crappie, and I am worried that I might not be able to keep myself from eating them even if I am not supposed to.

I'm headed to Clearlake or lake mendo Saturday.  I wouldn't eat fish outta Clearlake.  Tourney time sucks with all the bass boat flyin by at 50mph
