Anyone going to ARW tomorrow? I don't have to travel and it looks like I can escape the house so considering going as the forecast doesn't look too bad

I ended up going. In the water by 7:30ish back a bit before 11AM as the wind picked up and wanted to be home for lunch with the wife and kids.
Tried the wall back and forth, then 'followed' a boat but no luck for me. I trolled my new bounce-ball rig, with a frozen anchovy on top of the hoochie.  Didn't see any kayaks and only a few boats.
Well at least it was nice to be the water, first time this year and I got a good work out...

Went out today between 2 and 5. Choppy as hell due to high winds. The rain backed off for most of the time I was out there but then it started to pour. However, I went out around the same time Saturday and it was very flat and calm. Caught a small halibut on my first cast but couldn't keep it (pic below). I'm using a three way swivel with a torpedo sinker, a green and silver flasher and a frozen anchovy. First time using this rig! Honestly still can't wait for ling/rockcod season to open :smt007

Thanks for the report. I had a similar setup but didn't even catch a small one... I got a couple of bits but nothing special. I agree, can't wait for the RF season.....

Let us know how it went at the Berkeley flats. Would like to go there next weekend before rock fish!
