Please click on link to read more about class and sign up. If new to kayaking this will be a great class to get you ready for being out on the salt.

the class is from 9-4 with 4 hours of time on the water. The time off water will be lunch and other instruction. It's less than $25 an hour for this class.

I know everyone who's gone through it before said it was well worth it.

If they need someone to play the uninformed kayaker, who does everything wrong,  I'm your man. :smt003

Thanks for the heads-up. I just registered and looking forward to the coaching.

I don't have a tow rope. Do most people carry one?

A throw rope is one piece of safety equipment I always have and doubles as a tow rope if needed.

+1 for matt krizen. Not a fisherman, but i learned during that class we should always be kayaker before fisherman. Safety first, and a huge confidence booster.  Another important thing about that class is being able to learn about weather patterns, and what to look for when planning a trip.  The best safty dicision you can make is making the decision to stay home when conditions are crappy.

After reading more of the CCK offered courses, I'm standing down for this class.
They are offering other classes that are a lot more suited for my interests.
Still , thanks for posting this.

BUMP

There are still a few spots left for this class. If your a NooB you might want to seriously think about taking this class.
