on december 23 i had my first back surgery, as luck would have, it failed miserably and i was in worse shape than when i went in.. so everyday was sit only 30 minutes at a time then lay down and walk not a whole lot..  I'm an active guy and it was killing me inside… somehow not sure how conversation started novo and i hooked up on here i think cause were both from woodland maybe..? so i think he came over to tie some flies or i was going to give him some for crab-perch fest, anyways from that day on he would come over just to shoot the bs..  well feb 2 tony took me out to fish the american for steelhead in which i didn't las very long standing but it was awesome a guy id just met took me out fishing day before surgery #2 feb 3..
A few days after the surgery tony came by for a visit post op checkup.. I told my wife how awesome it was to have someone take the time out of their day when they could be doing other stuff and just stop in and say "hey hows it all going how've you been need anything cause i just got done with a workout and heading to your place after"  Do you all see what i mean? A few days later i asked in curiosity about playing the uke since i could only tie flies for half hour at a time i laid there watching youtube on pyramid lake where we all should be now and strobel lake or aka jurassic lake (where i am going when my wife and i celebrate 20 years)  So a day later after his workout Tony showed up w a uke and started teaching me.. i'm a dork w instruments unless its a duck or goose call but that guy taught me in a few weeks!! So last night was my wife's birthday and one of the songs Tony taught me was "happy birthday"!! And man when i played that song  for her she was in shock i even had an instrument in my hand .  But when i played it (i wuz a little tipsy) she didn't give a crap she started balling in front of like 15 or more people who randomly showed up for her party  It was awesome..
So anyways i didn't mean to ramble on but Tony is one solid guy.. He cheered me up on bad days, and good days made then brighter  .. Today the doc gave me thumbs up to go back to work, but now before i go i have to shake the addiction of perkoset!! That stuff has me by the nads so if any of you have advice on kicking it , fill me in.. i operate dozers and such so its a no no to set foot in one loaded w that crap..
So all i have to say is "Thanks for all your time Tony you helped a ton w the recovery, and also made last night good at the nights end!! "rock star style"  haha you da man      JB

First off, thanks for sharing this story. Tony is an awesome guy, no doubt!!! Stories like this give me hope that the world is not full of Trumps & Hilary's!!! :smt003 Very happy to hear that you are headed back to work. The issue with perkoset is not one to take lightly. Stay open about it and keep fighting the good fight.
