Mike's right; I was avoiding watching until his post.  Good video, I watched it for several minutes to get all the nuances such as keeping pressure on the shank during the full extraction.  I just hope I NEVER need to attempt this.

Another reason to fish barbless?

I have had to push the hook the rest of the way through and clip the barb to pull it back out. Not fun, this is also what the ER did when my friend caught one in the scalp. I wasn't there, it wasn't my fault. Luckily mine was a mosquito pattern fly and not a rock cod rig.

Hope none of you have to use this but I am interested to see if it is actually useful...... I'm gonna go buy a pork Trotter and try. Or get my little brother drunk. That sounds more fun. Jk
