YakAttack Hawg Trough Bracket?

Where are people storing their Hawg Troughs? Do you use the YakAttack brackets on an egg crate or on the Yak? Just throw it in the cargo area?

Either in the back area or in front under the bungie depend on which kayak I'm using.
