I am thinking to get a kayak right now. I was only doing some shore fishing or whalf/jetty fishing, but it was really hard to find the rock fish. I probably fished at wrong place

Get your kayak now and practice on the lakes before going out in the ocean. Lots of tips here, just do a search on what you need for ocean fishing. I fish Shadow Cliffs and Quarry Lakes during trout season. Just post up a hook up and I'm sure someone will join you specially on weekends.

Definitely a lot easier to get the RF from a kayak. But, safety first.
