Anyone ever use RainX on the inside of the windshield to prevent fogging? if not rainX what? Lately my electrics windshield get foggy due to moisture, breathing, body heat when its cold,  I have to hit the defroster for to clear the fog, then immediately shut it off (It subtracts 35 miles from "Battery" every time its turned on. get them back when shut off minus a few miles) so I try not to use it too much.
keep in mind, any heat generated on the car is from battery juice.  Everything is electric! My commute is 40 miles and starting out with only 72 miles on the battery I cannot afford to waste battery for heat.
So, if there is a product I can apply to the inside window to prevent fogging it'll help immensely.
Thanks,

Maybe a gas powered leaf blower?   :smt003

Naw, just kidding.   I never thought about how electric cars dealt with morning foggy windows.

Rain-x anti fog might work,  you'll have to try it and see if it helps or not.

Another thing you may try is to put a container of DampRid on the floor while parked to absorb the extra moisture in the car while it sits waiting for you to drive it.  Moisture builds up in and under the carpet, seats and other parts of the interior.  Then it evaporates and rises to the windshield as the car interior warms up with the morning sun.

I've used these in my truck camper when we were visiting my sister out in Chattanooga TN during the mid summer rain season.  High humidity along with the rain made it impossible to move enough dry air to keep the windows inside the camper from always being dripping wet.  Added 3 of the DampRid buckets to the inside and it really helped a lot. It pulled a ton of water out of the air.

You should be able to find DampRid at most stores like Wal*Mart, Home Depot, Target, etc...

in my '67 bug, I kept a small squeegee in the car :smt005

de-icing while going skiing was even worse, open the wind wing stick arm out and scrape ice off with a metal spatula :smt013
