Just bought my first kayak, NuCanoe Frontier 10. Been fishing for years, I've been a member of the Modesto AmBassAdors since 2000, even fished a few more competitive events over the years, but ALWAYS fish for FUN and RELAXATION. Hoping to see what this kayak thing is all about. The Water Skeeter pontoon is out, the NuCanoe is in.....any rigging, operating, tips, etc. appreciated.

You might try the search feature to view past threads about rigging a Nucanoe.

Welcome Lugnut.

Several folks out your way.  I was born and raised in Modesto and one of my good fishing buddies still resides there.  You have good company.

Hello Lugnut
I am in Los Banos, maybe we can fish together some time! I can always use a lesson!

No lessons here....I'll be glad if i can stand up, let alone fish effectively out of this thing...lol You ever hit up Los Banos Creek?  I've fished there several times, but it's been years, and it was always from a boat.

Hey Lugnut.  I have fished with Ambassadors a few times in the past and have talked with you on Westernbass.com in the past (username: badbass25).   I sold my Bass Tracker last year and have given the kayak my full attention.  We've got a kayak bass club here in Nor-cal you might be interested in called  Yak-a-bass Nor Cal.  We do most of our discussions and gatherings etc via our Facebook group (search our name to find us).
